This is the last interaction that I had with Troy. In his attempts to gather people together, it was not about the gathering itself, or a narcissistic need for attention. It was about people and opportunities to interact. He remembered something I had said years ago and realized what it truly meant. Unfortunately, he never saw my reply. But he got it. And I am sharing it with you, hoping that everyone who reads this takes the opportunity to get past the superficial "I was there". Really get in there, take the time to be there FOR and WITH one another, not just to occupy the same general space and call it good enough.

It's a real shame we don't have a thread for cats. So, let me start.

This is Edgar! He's about three years old. I adopted him in April. He's the absolute sweetest and does this little thing where he says "mwer" in his inside voice instead of meowing.

I wish I could say I named after Edgar Allen Poe, but he came with it from Harbor Humane. Well I suppose I could still tell people that, it would just be a lie XD
Not a big deal. In fact it seems kind of petty to me. But any way. First off I have to explain that I am not a Trump supporter. So anyone who post pro-Trump stuff on my FB wall gets a comment from me about what I think about Trump. Well that has not sit well with some of my FB friends who support Trump and or his policies.. So they post all this pro-Trump stuff and after a few comments from me, they end up unfriending me. But I just can't. I simply can not just sit back and ignore what they say. It is not in my nature to do so. So I guess, that is just how it has to be.

So I am sure you have all heard stories in the media about kids and teens being bullied to the point where thay feel like the only way out is suicide. The most recent story is of a Rutgers university student jumping off the George washington bridge after his room mate posted a video of him being intimate with another man. http://abcnews.go.com/US/gay-teen-suicide-sparks-debate/story?id=11788128

This story made me really angry. So many kids and teens are bullied every day. I thought of myself as a kid. My mom sent me away to summer camp one summer. Coming from a family that didn't have a lot of money I didn't bring a lot of outfits to wear. I was also the kid who was insanely skinny with big thick glasses. I was was never a shy kid and I tried to make friends with the othr girls but I made few friends. I had this one shirt that I loved it was a collared shirt with red and white stripes. I didn't care how it looked on me. I liked because it reminded of a farmer. I pictured myself picking veggies everytime i wore it, someething i still like doing. One day in the art room i had the shirt onand the most popular girls were at the other end of the table giggling in my direction. I was so desperate for the friendship i actually started giggling too( I had no idea why they were giggling). Then one of them Rachie came up and said "you're shirt is ugly" I couldn't believe that. I loved that shirt. I replied "This is my favorite shirt" All of them started cracking up. "That ugly thing is your favorite shirt!" Rachie said. I felt felt so small at that point. That same summer they wrote on a picnic table in permanent marker that i was ugly and hated me. They also took my blanket and hid it in a hole somewhere. They were rarely punished.

I know I wrote a lot so if you skimmed through its okay. I have been bullied more beyond what I wrote. I would really like to hear some of your stories because i feel we as a people can come together and look out for kids and adults who aren't treated nicely. Sometimes it takes one voice to save someone.

Which reminded me of this:

	And this:

This probably counts as well:

Also that scene from I think it was "Parker Lewis Can't Lose" where the antagonist had his own goth harem tent. I only vaguely remember that and it's been 30 years.

So, what do people like to get out and do?

I was thinking if there was a 24 hour one or one open at least pretty late that would be nice. Not much of a day person though.

He's on medicine for it but he keeps licking it!

So we had to bandage it

This did not last long and he pulled it off PROMPTLY

and becuase he was so annoyed with this process he kept biting at the medical supplies! (So cute)

So then Novum got the great idea to make a cone with a paper plate.

And now Edgar won't talk to novum. He's my cat now. Chilling in my lap.

But I feel like everyone has at least one wild diy vet story.

Yeah that said it all, anyone have the 411 about dealing with narcissistic people and/or individuals that may have Borderline Personality Disorder?

Especially in the context of being in a relationship or god forbid, a marraige to one? I have a good bit of experience but mines more a "throwing spaghetti at the wall to see if it sticks" kinda know-how.

It sure is wild and weird to be back here. The kids and I have lived in Michigan for 16 years, now. Sierra will be 28 in July and Ian will be 30 in November. Absolutely wild. Jeff and I are still married, and we bought his childhood home, just two years ago. We’re all working hard and trying to live our best lives. I know that some of you have had the opportunity to meet my children, but probably haven’t seen them since they were 11 and 13. So I thought that I would share. Ian works for UWM and Sierra works for TD Bank, as I do. Jeff (Damaged Goods) owns his own environmental company, now. I think he’ll be hiring soon. Not 100% sure on that.
anyway, here are my gorgeous kids

The note read in short: Notice Of Pending Action Service Of Process. Then my name but only my first name hand written is very poor handwriting. Then it says that "we" are attempting to service of legal documents upon you. Pleas call(phone number turns out to be a cell phone number) with in 24hrs and ask for J.D. ( no name just J.D) it then goes on to say that no info will be given over the phone what this is about but that I am to set up an apportionment with this J.D guy. Now I have no ideal who J.D is nor do I own anyone named J. D any money. I am not overly worried about this but I am pissed that someone came to my house and taped a note to my door. It has been a few days and I have not heard any more from this J.D person and I have not been able to find out who they are or what company it is from. The number was nothing but a voice mail message. Have any of you heard about anything like this? Far as I know J.D could be some psycho killer trying to get to me.
