Yeah even if I do decide to let them go outside on their own, I'll be checking on them frequently and keep windows open so I can hear them. I just feel bad when they can't go outside because I have stuff to get done around the house.

If you have a friend who has a cat. Try to set up a play date for them. Get your cat used to another cat in the house. If adjustment goes well, then you can decide if getting another cat would work.

I have prepped dinner, completed the laundry, groomed the dog, drained the tarp and fed the furbabies. I am about to take a break and watch some anime. ...at least until the next issue arises.

My son is 9. and daughter 11 with autism. I know my neighbors and everyone "watches" them. Their dad does the school thing because we live too far for walking. I walked a block to school in 1st grade, but I echo the times have changed sentiment.

I know Origin doesn't have the number of people that the old City used to but it's getting there. People grow up or grow out of it. A few people stick around in a scene but most people eventually leave. But new people then join the group to give it life again. We need more young people to go. It can't be like it used to but it can still be fun. I'm grateful to have it at all. No other place feels like home like City does.

I love my family both biological and chosen. Since my accident, despite all the craziness and instability, my family has never turned against me. Even rescuing me from my kidnapper. We may not be The Brady Bunch but we try to be there for each other even if we disagree, argue, fight, or move to the other side of the planet. We always work together when the going gets tough and welcome new members, even if we don't agree with their philosophy. I really love my family.

I am still discovering things about my family after all these years. My name on my birth certificate isn't even true! No wonder I feel like I don't know what I am or where I belong. There is so many things that are taboo and/ or everyone just dances around certain questions. It's weird. So, to all the DGN family, thanks for adopting me!
