Soulrev Posted June 8, 2006 Posted June 8, 2006 So I've been losing a lot of weight lately. My pants have been way too big for a few months now. I don't use a scale and weigh myself because it's depressing, but my girlfriend took me to Kohl's where I actually fit into a pair of 36! My old pants are 42. She bought me some new pants and smaller shirts and all I can say is I look better and feel better about myself than I have in a LONG time. How did I do it? I didn't change anything with my diet. I'll still eat fast food, drink probably over a gallon of Coca Cola per day (I should stop that cuz that's just unhealthy period), but all I did was start doing push-ups, sit-ups, and 50 pound arm curls and laterals every day. No running, no jogging, no walking, just those 4 things every morning when I wake up and here I am today 3 pants sizes smaller. I'm very interested to see what happens when I get into Basic and I CAN'T drink Coca Cola and I HAVE to eat right, and I'll be running and all kinds of shit. I got these results from doing minimal excersize, so I just can't wait to find out where I'm at when I graduate. w00t!!!!!!1!
LuluVox Posted June 8, 2006 Posted June 8, 2006 Awesome. Damn men for being able to lose weight like it's nothing, grr.
The_Dark Posted June 8, 2006 Posted June 8, 2006 Congrats man! and i highly doubt it has to do with his maleness.
LuluVox Posted June 8, 2006 Posted June 8, 2006 Congrats man!and i highly doubt it has to do with his maleness. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well, whether it does or not, it's a fact that it's easier for guys in general.
kellygrrrrrl Posted June 8, 2006 Posted June 8, 2006 So can you show us? Yah? And Wowzers....great job! Taking Coca-Cola out of the equasion will make a dramatic diff! I swiched to drinking diet soda, and lost 5 lb's the 1st week...
Brenda Starrr Posted June 8, 2006 Posted June 8, 2006 That's awesome, Brian! I just want to drop 10lbs. Now that I'm not smoking, I don't know how easy that'll be......
BrassFusion Posted June 8, 2006 Posted June 8, 2006 lol, congratulations, but if you start your cardio and wean yourself off pop now, it should make basic a whole bunch easier.
Blackmail Posted June 8, 2006 Posted June 8, 2006 Good news B! But can i have your old pants because I'm still fat. :blushing
Ash Sangre Posted June 9, 2006 Posted June 9, 2006 Good for you, Wish I could drop some:) Freaking diabetic and I take insulin so it makes me gain like crazy, I used to weight like 157
torn asunder Posted June 9, 2006 Posted June 9, 2006 and i highly doubt it has to do with his maleness. actually, his maleness probably has a lot to do with it - men, having more testosterone, can build more muscle, and more easily, than women, and muscle burns more energy than fat. if i were a betting man, though, i'd bet that he's actually gained weight, since muscle also weighs more than fat. =)
Msterbeau Posted June 9, 2006 Posted June 9, 2006 Well, whether it does or not, it's a fact that it's easier for guys in general. I disagree. Besides... what are you complaining about?
