I'm not a social worker. As the eternal stated, I have a BA in psychology, not social work. My official job title is Behavior Consultant. I assess and treat behavior problems. Social workers do something else.

It's wierd, I know a few of them. Another one on this board hardly ever posts....I hung out with him the other day. He runs natures serenity program which is natural physocialogy or something I dunno he is into treating people without drugs which I like. He just....gets too long winded and talks about quantum physics and shamanism and evolutionary psychology so much my ears fall off.

But it's cool.

And I know two more people going for thier degrees...

I just wonder why people need them so much these days but I guess a long time ago we had medicine men that treated all ills together instead of one for the body, one for the mind and one for the soul.

So now we have 3 times as many in differing fields instead.......but there are so many people now I guess thats part of the problem.

I just wonder why I end up being friends with so many people in this field.

Now one of my kids is considering it too!
