Blood : The Last Vampire...

It's a rather new anime movie by the creators of Ghost in the Shell...I was wathing it today...and for some reason the ending depresses me...I dont want to give out many details...but Saya (main charector) kills a mutated vampire and as it lies,dieing she uses her own blood to give it a "last meal" if you will...I find it rather sad...am I odd?

there is a follow up manga thats set in "now".

blood 2002 i think its called. been wandering my local "geek" shop but it hasnt turned up on thier shelves yet

It is short..but its about 60-70 minutes...but...did anyone else find the ending depressing?Where the gave the demon a final meal?

tbh the best animes i have seen are ones i had to think about.

I did. The first time we saw it I felt a little weepy about the ending. That feeling of letting something go you are a part of. Something you still feel akin too. Then she feeds it one last time...in a ritual as much for herself as for it. I really did love that movie. Ohh yeah...umm....Im really not here so....shhhhhh...remember...I left. I just saw this and had to post. but ummm...yeah...shhhhhhhh

I saw it awhile ago. Yeah the ending bothered me a little bit, but not that much. I read in a magizine that they created a series called "blood+". It looks kinda interesting. It set in modern day and its about Saya when she first joined the orginazation that is taking out those creatures.
