I know theres a site for rides...but theres 2 reasons Im posting this here which are

1:I dont remember the site

2:I know alot of people on this board and I'd rather ask people I know than ask random strangers....

But I was wondering if anyone would be willing to pick me up for the club...I'd be willing to pay for gas...but I have to point out I am in a wheelchair...and I need help getting into cars...I'm sorry to post this...but I just thought I'd ask...

If I even still went out anymore (I'm broke from medical bills and all my overtime $$ is going to hopefully pay 1 or 2 off) I'd come get ya! But, without the glasses its too hard for me to drive for that long.

I'd be more than willing to, except the fact that I just got off work not to long ago. And I dont know how to get there either. Tomorrow I'll be there but I get off work late. How far away from Troy is it??

You didn't tell me you needed a ride, babe. I'll try to get a nap in this afternoon so I can go. And then I'll do it if i can sleep over.

I can't do it this time sweetie 'cos I'm going down early for the picnic & Ministry. But for any future excursions it would be fine ... I would actually welcome company for the drive. I drive an SUV so your chair is no prob... & I do have some experience w/that kind of thing so getting you in & out wouldn't be a big deal either.

Only catch is I usually don't drive back till morning, I get a room upstairs & crash for a few hours... so if you don't mind sleeping with me :devil it's all good!

& that goes for anyone else along 96 between here & the city, too... & if I have someone who can help drive, I can forgo the room & just head straight back.

Yeah I only have an itsy bitty car anyway. It may prove quite difficult to get u in the car. And I have no experience either. I'd be afraid to hurt you or something.

MI Goth - Industrial Rideboard

http://www.umich.edu/~mauraway/rideboard.html

I can definitely understand why people would rather team up with people they know in real life for carpools. I do the same myself.

The rideboard is for people who don't know anyone local who likes to go to the same events/ activities. Or for people who want to meet new local people who share those interests. Ive met some nice people this way.

As I always say, if it fits your needs/interests use it. If it doesn't fit your needs/interests, don't use it.

Hope everyone gets where they want to go, cheaply and in good company.

That is all...

I'm thinking I'm going to be moving to AZ, soon! Can't wait! I friggin' love it here! The heat doesn't bother me at all and the best part? NO SNOW!!! (S.N.O.W. - Shit  No One Wants)   Been staying in Bullhead City where the kids and grandkids live. Next, we're going to the wife's cousin's which is a ways North of Kingman, in the middle of nowhere, where we actually plan to move.   I really like Bullhead. It's a nice little town. Not overcrowded like Colorado Springs has become, at all. Very light traffic, reasonable prices on everything, low taxes, etc. The river offers a lot to do, with a lot of beaches and campgrounds all around it.   But yeah even though we've been over 110º-115º F just about every day,  I can handle it!  What I can't handle anymore, is snow and being cold. Just tired of it. Give me the desert over a blizzard any day!

Nope, we wasn't doing anything. I didn't want to go by myself.  I ended up doing karaoke here. It would of been a perfect day to go, though.
