well he said he wanted to hear some synthpop and industrial.  metropolis records is pretty much the standard for that stuff now and if you go to their myspace page you get links to a majority of their bands.

Yes, Type O Negative, and they are goth (goth metal to be specific).

Metropolis is the top 40 of the underground world. Most of the stuff on that label isn't all that goth anymore though.

Old Johnny Cash tunes, seriously. Stark, dark, and in your face. Cant get much more Goth than that....
