See, I think it's hard sometimes. The thread is started, but it brings up so many different points. Discussing these points becomes a part of the thread. Just as it does in normal, everyday conversation.

Then, there are other times, when someone just jacks the crap out of it just to do it. No, that's not nice. Yes, it is kind of "jerky." We all have a tendency to do it.

SO maybe a "N0 Jerky or Disrespectful threadjacking" makes sense....

Man, I weighed myself today, I've lost 30 lbs so far. I'm so proud of myself. Has anyone else been dieting or exercising? It feels good, doesn't it? Everyone share your success stories!

Please......

I'm going to ask everyone, as well as abide by this rule. If you feel an absolute need to threadjack, go here.. Don't intentionally derail a thread! I'm getting a lot of complaints about this. Please help make my job easier!

Thanks to all!

BF stop being a jackass

I dont intentionally try to change the topic of the thread...sometimes I do crack jokes in the topic just to break the tension or to be "cute"...but I don't try to intentionally change the topic or be "jerky"...

Honestly, I haven't witnessed much deliberate threadjacking. I've seen some people complain of it in instances where threadjacking was clearly NOT happening, which confuses me...

This 👆 definitely goes with what I said in my other post - getting old sucks. Seems like *everything* takes longer and takes more energy out of me than it used to. Really need to work on my diet and exercise, I've found the older I get, the more important those things have really become...

Well we were supposed to leave last night, but life has a way of making plans for you. I'm about to get up and get ready to go on our vacation. Had and still have a lot to do.  Not easy to just up and leave a ranch with a lot of animals and things that need taken care of. We even have people here to watch and tend things while we're gone, but still.   I had to change the radiator in my car before we leave - got that done last night. Took a lot more out of me than I thought it would, so by the time I finished I had little energy for anything else. Today I just have a couple more quick things to do on the car, like cleaning it and packing stuff. Couple of minor things to do around the ranch today, as well.   I figure we should be on the road this evening sometime. I'm looking forward to it. We're going to see the wife's side of the family, people I actually like,  in Vegas and AZ. Should only be gone for a few days, maybe a week. Going to the Grand Canyon and Lake Mead and all kinds of stuff in between, so I'm pretty stoked. I LOVE the Southwest.   Wish me luck that my car survives the desert! (Hence new radiator) 🤠👍

Sometimes sleep can be a scary thing.  I passed out so hard at 4:54pm today.  Yesterday wiped me out with rentals, appointments and helping a lost dog get back home.  Fortunately, I found him on Facebook and contacted the owners and he was picked up before nightfall.  But I think I totally overdid it and paid for it today in the middle of handling business.  Thankfully it was some work at home stuff.   I definitely do not like being that kind of tired.  It's like the World could end and I'd wake up afterwards trying to find out what happened.
