BillyDeath Posted July 6, 2006 Posted July 6, 2006 I know most of these bands are not gothic, but I was wandering if any of you heard of Wall Of Voodoo, Stan Ridgeway- the lead singer of Wall Of Voodoo, The The, Berlin, Heaven 17, Yaz, Ah hah, XTC, and Bronski Beat. There are probably many more but I thought they were very talented.
Joey Deadcat Posted July 6, 2006 Posted July 6, 2006 Been into Wall Of Voodoo since the early 80s. Heard they're supposed to be doing some reunion tour.

Bronski Beat was ok but Jimmy Sommerville's voice was a little grating at times.
BillyDeath Posted July 7, 2006 Author Posted July 7, 2006 (Matt Johnson included several guest artist over the years including Sinead Occonner and Johnny Marr.) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> no shit? ...I never knew Sinead was with them.
Blackmail Posted July 7, 2006 Posted July 7, 2006 no shit? ...I never knew Sinead was with them. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> she sang on one song on the second album - of which I forget the name right now. My favorite the The album was 'Soul Mining' which was technicly the first The The album. Quick question, was Stan Ridgeway in Ultravox with Midge Ure or am I way off?
