Homicidalheathen Posted July 11, 2006 Posted July 11, 2006 Um, yah....that'll do it for me. Damn, she was young! :confused If you need any extra motivation: I lost a good friend to lung cancer a few years ago. She was just a year or two older then I. She was awesome!! Sadly, she left behind two young boys and a great husband. She smoked. <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Steven Posted July 11, 2006 Author Posted July 11, 2006 Day three. no cigarettes. thought about it hard for about 15 minutes this morning. still alive.....and gay.
Msterbeau Posted July 12, 2006 Posted July 12, 2006 Go team!! Edit: Carla and I were laughing so hard last night at Necto. There we were in a dark club full of gothy, somber people giggling and laughing and having a decidedly ungothy time. We'll be your cheerleaders... :grin
Brenda Starrr Posted July 12, 2006 Posted July 12, 2006 There we were in a dark club full of gothy, somber people giggling and laughing and having a decidedly ungothy time. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Detroit will become a little less goth in two months.

Steven Posted July 13, 2006 Author Posted July 13, 2006 5 days and no smokes bitches!!!! And I'm not even fucking edgy!!! Nor am I tempted to use all kinds of fucking uneccessary profanity since I upped my caffeine intake which only makes me want to smoke more! on the flip side though.......I'm trying to learn that new Gnarls Barkley song (crazy) and its all falsetto and I'm getting very very close to actually finding my groove on it and if I was still smoking, forget it, it wouldbe pointless......
Brenda Starrr Posted July 13, 2006 Posted July 13, 2006 Oh NO......... Gnarls Barkley???? You have lost it.....
Steven Posted July 13, 2006 Author Posted July 13, 2006 Oh NO......... Gnarls Barkley???? You have lost it..... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I know. I actually had to fight for that song in my last band meeting - its got an old school Detroit Motown flavor to it and that's why I love it. besides, everything we cover we end up putting an edge to it. You should hear us do Tom Jones.......we'd give you a wettie......
Steven Posted July 15, 2006 Author Posted July 15, 2006 ok....so I broke down tonight, and smoked one cigarette. I was (am) pretty drunk. Big musicians bash at smeone's hosue as a farewell party and I sang alot and drank even more. around midnight I notice a pack of smokes laying on a bench in the backyard....... ....and I took one out and smoked it. I dont really feel guilty. I did feel dizzy however....fucking cigarettes are evil. Back on the horse - one cigarette will not have me smoking again. Kelly - how are you doing?????
Steven Posted July 17, 2006 Author Posted July 17, 2006 been craving doobage lately though....whatefuck is wrong with me lately???
Paper Hearts Posted July 17, 2006 Posted July 17, 2006 Aye, I quite smoking...everything, for a very long time. Years. But suddenly it's better than air to me. I can't figure these things out.
Msterbeau Posted July 18, 2006 Posted July 18, 2006 been craving doobage lately though....whatefuck is wrong with me lately??? You're human. :doh
Brenda Starrr Posted July 18, 2006 Posted July 18, 2006 Yes, you're human. But you don't REALLY want the cheeba. You just want something to satisfy that emptiness where your cigarrette smoking used to live. I've noticed that I get a craving on a good day. I just ignore it, knowing that it'll make me so severely sick that I can't possibly function.
