Reality Shows

Since there are tons of reality shows nowadays, I'm just curious what everyones favorite is and/or even the ones you hate the most.

Mine is "Cops" cause its funny seeing some of the situations those cops have to deal with. "Cheaters" is another fav of mine cause its Jerry Springer meets Reality.

i do not watch much television. In fact, I saw that show at someone else's place.

I don't watch tv really.. Reality shows suck. Unless they're building stuff.. Then it's OK. I do miss the original Junkyard Wars.

:devil IMO I cannot stand reality show,some are really immoral,some are just plain stupid.

If they ever made a good reality show,it should be about demolition,and also how to preset a controlled implosion,of corse they have shown something similar on the History Channel.but as for regular TV all these reality shows suck.

Is Iron Chef a reality show? Hmm...

Ok. I like pretty much any reality show that doesn't involve shallow, stupid people hooking up with one another.

Or entering some glorified talent show.

I think it's more of a game show, but d00d. I love Iron Chef. I even like the American version because I think Alton Brown is badass. I get so hungry while I'm watching it though.

- i wouldn't say those are reality shows at all. i would just say iron chef is a "cooking show" and that the others, well i don't know. they are "reality" but not by the defination of what "reality tv shows" actually are.

Yeah. I conspicuously DON'T get hungry watching the Japanese version.

Edit: Hm. I tried to spell that phonetically but it's already a word. Kansume? No, that's the Jap way to spell it and I don't think it's a Jap word. I think it's French.

Well, when you remove Mythbusters and Overhaulin' (and American Chopper) from the Reality Show retinue and only leave ones with stupid shallow people hooking up with one another... yeah, I don't like reality shows.

I think you and I just use different standards. For me, reality TV is anything unscripted where the... um... "plot" centers around people's "real" reactions to whatever's going on.

i wish all reality tv meant "anything unscripted" where plots center around real reactions and life like you are describing. i think that is the way it should be. that would be great. too bad they have to make reality tv so un-real.

That show is extremely funny. I love all the jobs they make him do especially when he had to crawl under a church with that termite guy.

not so big on the whole reality tv concept.
