It's just he didn't make rock a project of his until the late 1960s. He was an influence on culture before that though. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Ok I didn't know that, I am sorry. When I think of Warhol's influence on music I automatically think of the VU.

And personally, I dislike the end products of Warhol's work...but I've read a bit of his theory in Jean Baudrillard's 'For A Critique Of The Political Economy Of The Sign' and I really thought it was a fascinating approach. -Great book, btw.

Honestly can't remember.
