Nienna Posted February 21, 2005 Posted February 21, 2005 Actually the miiles do qualify for me. I would have to rent a car and it's on a weeknight. I surely wouldn't be able to get up at 7 Monday morning, drive a few hours there and back then get up at 7 again on Tuesday morning. I also wouldn't drive that far by myself, not the way home anyway. Even if it was on a weekend I wouldn't make it. Too far for me. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Oh I know. I had to take 1 1/2 vacation days... My original plans for this event would have made it easier.. as it is, I have to sit at a friend's house by myself for like 2 days now. It's really silly for me to still be going at all but "Oh well"!

Brenda Starrr Posted February 21, 2005 Author Posted February 21, 2005 Ugh.... I so wish could be there.
Lilith Posted February 22, 2005 Posted February 22, 2005 i probally wont be there as a matter of fact i know i wont.... the mile in between make it hard ot get kids off to school the next day and then of course the cost of gass and everything else........but i will be at CC Friday night...... wish i could go on sat night to cc but i haveto owrk and the likey hood of me getting a free sitter is like none. :unhappy:
Nienna Posted February 23, 2005 Posted February 23, 2005 Hey, wanna help us assemble the CDs Sunday night? It will be a good time waster and opportunity to socialize. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Actually, yeah... I'll be in Redford. IM me about it.
TheLordShaper Posted February 23, 2005 Posted February 23, 2005 I'll most likely have the helmet out that night as I have been aching to wear it and I think it might well make it a bit easier for you too find me. Ill be out with it Saturday at City Club too I think, going probably full romantic Goth as it's the last time a good friend of mine will be in Michigan for a year and where looking to dress to the nines for his going away party! As for the Necto event, most likely bondage pants green vest over form fitting black, my leather gloves and my biker vest, but its still under debate. ~TLS
Brenda Starrr Posted February 23, 2005 Author Posted February 23, 2005 I just love when a man knows what he's wearing, and actually cares about how he looks. Quite refreshing.
SomeDanGuy Posted February 28, 2005 Posted February 28, 2005 Still debating whether or not to wear my new-ish boots. The plus is I like them, the minus is I'm not used to elevated footwear yet and will in all liklihood fall on my face repeatedly and/or crush other people's feet. Of course, if everyone else also wears steel-toes, that last bit won't be a problem
JaneDead Posted February 28, 2005 Posted February 28, 2005 i won't be wearing anything.... as i won't be going now. i have had the flu since thursday and feel super shitty today and am rather pissed about it actually.

Well, he did me when I almost took a tumble down the stairs.

HyperSomnia Posted February 28, 2005 Posted February 28, 2005 I'll probably be as my friends used to call me: sophistigoth. simple + clean. Laibach necklace.
phee Posted February 28, 2005 Posted February 28, 2005 I will try to look as much like a guy in a hooded sweatshirt with jeans as I can...
HyperSomnia Posted February 28, 2005 Posted February 28, 2005 shucks. so you're opting out of the Boba-Fett look this time?!
phee Posted February 28, 2005 Posted February 28, 2005 My 1800's Southern French Protestant outfit got ruined at a Slayer show.
bav Posted February 28, 2005 Posted February 28, 2005 Most likely will be in my regular clothes - BDU's of some flavor, black band shirt, combat boots, an unbuttoned workshirt and glasses. Since I don't know most of you by face, if you recognize me, say hi!
SomeDanGuy Posted February 28, 2005 Posted February 28, 2005 I think I might have a few of those name tag stickers sitting around. If so, I'm wearing one of those so you won't have to guess. As I am coming alone and haven't met you people before, please anyone feel free to come up and talk to me
torn asunder Posted February 28, 2005 Posted February 28, 2005 i'm such a dork - i forgot to do laundry last night, so i have to go buy something tonight after work!! :ermm: at least you'll get to see my six new piercings!! :woot: :
JaneDead Posted March 1, 2005 Posted March 1, 2005 i wish i could have been there to see all you fabulously dressed people. especially those of the hoody and jeans attire. i may have been similarly dressed had i been able to go. i can't wait to see pictures! who took the pictures?!

I found out kinda late that SomeDanGuy had a camera in his car and forced him to go out in the cold and get it. (Grr, don't mess with Marblez, )
Nienna Posted March 1, 2005 Posted March 1, 2005 I totally forgot to bring mine too and had planned to. It's sitting on the coffee table in front of me as I type! Sorry!
