Just what I need. More stuff to spend money on.

Silent Hill Experience

Similar to the Metal Gear Solid Digital Graphic Novel, the Silent Hill Experience is a mini-encyclopedia for Silent Hill. The bulk to the package is the Dying Inside Silent Hill comic featured with a musical score to accompany the visual presentation. In addition to the existing Dying Inside comic, a brand new comic has been created specifically for Silent Hill Experience that will contain an entirely new adventure.

While Experience is mainly focus on the digital graphic novel features, it also contains information and videos on the Silent Hill games. Trailers for all of the games have been included as well as developer interviews. The secret endings from past Silent Hill titles will also be included for fans that never go to see them. As a bonus, the creator of the series has included his top 20 favorite sound tracks from the games.

If you enjoyed the Metal Gear Solid Digital Graphic Novel, you should equally enjoy the Silent Hill Experience. Packed with a digital comic, game trailers, interviews and other goodies, it's everything a Silent Hill fan could want on a UMD.

Silent Hill Origins

To go along with Silent Hill Experience, Konami is working hard on Silent Hill Origins, the first PlayStation Portable Silent Hill title. Very little is currently known about Origins, but what we do know is that the game is a direct prequel to the first Silent Hill game. A trucker by the name of Travis ends up in the town and gets pulled into the craziness.

Due to the size of the PSP screen, the camera in Origins will be shifted to over the shoulder. The game will also be slightly more action-oriented compared to other Silent Hill titles. Everything in Origins will be slightly regressed from the town to the enemies you'll encounter.

With the duo of Silent Hill Origins and the Silent Hill Experience hitting the PlayStation Portable this year, if you're a Silent Hill fan and don't own a PSP, it's time to go out and get one. We'll have more on Origins and Experience in the coming weeks as we finally get our hands on both PSP titles.
