Batman sequal

The sequal to the latest batman movie is comming out in 2008 and i am excited to say that the joker is going to be in this one! Now the cast will be much the same as the first with Christian Bale, Michael Cain, Morgan Freeman, and Gary Oldman, the only question is, who should play the joker? Every fan site i have been to seem to list off their picks for the role, anyone from Heath Ledger, Robin Williams, Johnny Depp, Lachy Hulme, Jude Law, Adrien Brody, the list just goes on, some good some very very bad. Next (and obvious question for those of you who know me) who will play Harley? Some people say shes to animated to be in this series and others feel if she was gothed out a little more she could fit right in, others still (like me) are hopeful that if nothing else Dr. Quinzel will make an appearance. After all, with Dr. Crane beeing put away Arkham is going to need a new head and who better to fill it than her. This would allow her to be written into the 3rd movie where we will finally be able to see her change into Harley. Finally what are your opinions on Harvey Dent, once gothams district attorney turned insane crime boss two-face?

Consider before choosing the appearance, attitude and overall composition of the character. Obviously with technology there gonna be able to fuck with things but what fun is that. With that said, here are my opinions on the subject.

Harley

Pauley Perette- Shes got the facial structure perfect for Harley, not to mention the innocent eyes and smile that turn her from a sex kitten to the cutest of hench wenches.

We already know she can pull of beeing a blonde

and she looks killer in pig tails and a white coat

The only things i can see beeing a problem for her are her height (Harley is suppose to be 5'3'' but i think as long as shes shorter than whoever is playing Mistah J it should work) and her voice. They may also have to pull a tomb rader (i.e. boobs and a little more booty) to give her the curvyness) She doesnt quite have that New York high pitches sqeaky cuteness that harley does but maybe she can work on that.

Brittany Murphy- While i dont personally like her as an actress i think she could add a lot to the character of harley. For starters shes closer to the right height (from my limited knowledge anyway) and is closer to the voice. Shes already a blond and with a little facial training could have the smile, not to mention shes also got the right shaped face.

The accent shouldnt be a problem (anyone remember cluelss?) and shes got the cute bubbly personality that harley needs.

Theses are the closest to what ive found for my Harley picks.

Joker- for me theres only one choice to play the joker - Paul Bettany.

Not only does he have the look, his voice is nearly spot on and hes nicely demented already. OOOOHHHH AND HE LOOKS DREAMY IN THE PURPLE SUIT!

I cant say one bad thing about this guy, hes got it all for the role.

Two-Face- No ideas as of yet. anyone care to share?

I'm in agreement with the Britney Murphy thing. Joker should be Steve Buscemi who can pull off funny and psycho at the same time. Then again he's probably too old... so in all reality I don't have a clue who should play him as I hate most of the actors of this generation. Who ever it is, Mark Hamill WILL have to voice over the dialouge, or at least the laughing part.

Actual height means a lot in theatre, a little bit in television, but absolutely nothing in movies. It's really easy to force perspective.

Jack Nicholson really was good, but he wasn't great. Mark's voice just had everything from the fluctuations in the vocals to the high pitch tone etc...

You're spot on about Johnny though.

allways thought my ex would make a good harley. got the body and curves (but her hieght is a dissadvantage), and prone to psychotic behaviour as well as the way she is. giggling away in varying tones rather psychotically, even when she's trying to speak, and breathe in.

its not needed because batman has been around for years so we already know what is going to happen so why bother?

Personally I'd like to see a non animated Batman Beyond movie made. The animated one was good, but I was unhappy with how they changed the ending to make it kid safe on Cartoon Network.

a live action beyond movie would be good (if done right of course) but i think that the animated one was pretty damn good even if it was kid safe it was based on a kid safe cartoon so that didnt take away from much
