Medea Posted August 2, 2006 Posted August 2, 2006 I'm getting tired of his childlike eyes That air of confidence in every smile The way he looks at them and drives them wild And how he's so aware of all his wiles --- This isn't right This isn't real This isn't how I'm supposed to feel How he turns me upside-down I'll never know Why can't I run? Why can't I hide? Why can't I lock it all inside? He's going to be the death of me before he goes And he knows --- He's always charming and he's so damn nice He'll take you home if you can pay the price He moves through crowds with such a subtle grace But in the end I'm just another face --- This isn't right This isn't real This isn't how I'm supposed to feel How he turns me upside-down I'll never know Why can't I run? Why can't I hide? Why can't I lock it all inside? He's going to be the death of me before he goes And he knows And he knows And he knows He's going to be the death of me before he goes And he knows ____________________ Dorkiest part? This is all written from the standpoint of a character in one of my roleplays.
kellygrrrrrl Posted August 3, 2006 Posted August 3, 2006 I'd like to hear the music that goes with it! =) I love it.
Medea Posted August 3, 2006 Author Posted August 3, 2006 Yeah, it's actually one of the few songs I've written that actually has a melody. I don't know how to write music (or play an instrument), but I can picture how this goes. I just sing it accapella.
