damn windows xp

has anyone else had issues with windows xp pro? our system got the blue screen of death and wouldn't even boot in safe mode! we had to put on linux and POOF! everything including the elusive cd burner which hasn't worked in some time is back in working order.

reloading the OS usually fixes those problems, though sometimes you have to reload from scratch which is annoying. Keep proper backups of everything.

yeah but i'm kind of pissed off about the whole thing damn it! my system was down for several days when it gets booted up with another op syst disc that isnt' what is on there and the new one is installed everything all of a sudden works again! things which haven't worked in over a year?!?! grumble grumble. damn you bill gates damn you!
