You guys have got to look into the new Pet Shop Boys album. I know that it's not a particularly goth thing to be into, but most of the album is about how much Bush and Blair suck, which will at least appeal to some members on the board. It includes a song called "I'm with Stupid" which theorizes that Blair is secretly in love with Bush and that's the reason no one understands why they're together all the time. A great dance track that would even fit in at a goth club (imho) is "Minimal." It basically sounds like an updated New Order song, only with a better arrangement. There's plenty of even somewhat gothy stuff on there in the form of some rather sad ballads. If you're into that kind of stuff, check out "Numb." Hell, if you're into synth pop at all, you owe it to yourself to check out this new album.

It's kinda pricey; $50 for main floor + service fee. It's at the State Theatre, which I really like at least.

All the same price. You can check it out on ticketmaster.com. I like that it's somewhat general admission, because I plan on dancing!

thanks for pointing out that PSB has a new album out. I thought they had broken up and gone their separate ways.

People thought I was crazy for saying PSB was the best thing since Depeche Mode back in the 80's. Pet Shop Boys were doing electronica music before everyone else was mixing and creating things in the 90's. I LOVE PSB!

wow! that's one show I'd love to see, but I'm just moving to MI and have driven through Detroit...not so psyched about going to a concert there. *lol*

No offense but I think the new album is awful, I miss the old "Love Comes Quickly" sound. They are Eurotrash now (in my opinion).
