Edward Scissorhands

I love the movie Edward Scissorhands!!! It is one of Depp's best i think anyway. Who else likes this movie? There a couple of things about this movie that are little known facts (I think that they are little known). First, Nick Carter from the Backstreet Boys has a cameo role in it. He can be seen playing outside with some kind of water thing when you can see out the main window in the living room. Never noticed before, have to rent it and see if I can see him. There was another fact about this movie that I found pretty interesting. Tom Cruise was originally offered the part of Edward Scissorhands but he turned it down because he believed that the part would make him look too girlie. Can you believe that? Of course what I have been hearing about him lately, I wouldnt doubt it! The funny thing about that is when someone thinks of Edward Scissorhands they know that Johnny Depp is in it. (most of the time) that role pretty much everyone connects with him. Anyone else know anything else about this movie? or just put your comments of it on here. I would love to hear them!

Elfman did the soundtrack. Pretty much when Tim and Danny get togeather they can do no wrong. Oh yeah we can't forget Wynona Rider of course.

This is one of my favorite movies ever. I never tire of watching it. My kids love it also.

I also have this fascination with Edward Scissorhands. (and yes, I do know how strange it is to have a crush on a fictional character, but he's hot, dammit)! Also his innocence makes me want to corrupt him and stuff.

That is an question that I dont know the answer to. However, it is one that is worth researching a bit on. I will get back to you on that.

As far as the real movie goes, I will always love it. It made me cry.

I own the movie. But I have to stop watching it when the van drives up. Everything goes to shit from that point.

The soundtrack is great for falling to sleep to.

I had a theater poster from it, one of those that's printed back and front that's usually in a lit display case. Sold it on ebay.
