Guest Game of Chance Posted August 22, 2006 Posted August 22, 2006 How do you feel about this band? "I'll Meet You in Poland, Baby" is in my opinion, one of the best tracks, ever. "Well, me and Stalin, we just signed A mutual non-aggression pact."

"Well, me and Stalin, we just signed A mutual non-aggression pact." <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hellz yeah. I'm not such a big fan of the new album "Love" but I thought "Flow" was good. Anything from the eighties pretty much kicks ass. I remember buying "Nail" when I was in high school and it just blew me away. I had never heard anything like it. After I heard "Throne of Agony", I knew my musical tastes were never going to be the same. Brilliant stuff.
Guest Game of Chance Posted August 22, 2006 Posted August 22, 2006 Fuck yeah. I use them in replacement of my morning coffee. Talk about an eye opener. Especially when you turn the volume to 11. My neighbors must love me
Msterbeau Posted August 22, 2006 Posted August 22, 2006 I hadn't heard of them so I went to their site and took a listen. I likes what I heard.... :-)
Guest Game of Chance Posted August 22, 2006 Posted August 22, 2006 Indeed. <shameless plug> They're in the playlist on our site's radio show. Good stuff. http://ontheb.us/radio/radio.html
HipsterDufus Posted August 22, 2006 Posted August 22, 2006 Also, Gash is quite good. It's a nice transition album for him and probably has the most "mass market" appeal, as that was how it was intended. It has a 11 minute swing song dedicated to getting f'ed over by a chick. I mean, come on. How cool is that?
Anathema Posted August 23, 2006 Posted August 23, 2006 i actually just got a new copy of the song meet you in poland about a month ago. it was one of those wonderful long lost and forgotten tracks. i actually saw them way back when at st. andrews. i still have the set list they gave me.
Mikielikesit Posted August 23, 2006 Posted August 23, 2006 I had never heard of these guys but they are pretty cool .....thanks
mallochai Posted August 23, 2006 Posted August 23, 2006 I am forever confusing them with Foetus Exactlica. Actually... foetus exactica might not even be a real band, since I can't find any information on them. I used to have a couple of songs... I heard them on WIDR... Then again, they could be one of the strange extensions of Foetus. I wish I could remember the titles of the songs I had. They were great. They disappeared somewhere back in Michigan though.
