Cocteau Twins

Hello all. I'm new here, a 20/m near the Detroit area. Basically, I love the Cocteau Twins. The sound of Liz Fraser's angelic voice soaring over Robin Guthrie's languid, dreamy guitars is ethereal, otherwordly, and beyond compare. But I often feel very, very alone in my appreciation of the Twins, at least in MI. So, if there is anyone here at this forum who loves the Cocteau Twins, I will marry you. How about that?

In all seriousness: what are your guys and gals' favorite albums from the Cocteau Twins? "Head Over Heels"? "Heaven or Las Vegas"? "Treasure"? What about favorite Twins-related side-project? Anyone else heard Robin Guthrie and Harold Budd's amazing score for "Mysterious Skin"?

Thank ya.

Heaven or las vegas was my favorite. but their best tunes in my book were Donimo, carolyns fingers, squeeze wax, lorelei and frosty the snowman. I do think that they were one of the ten greatest bands of all time . Welcome!

I'm not ready to settle down just yet. I guess we can make out or something, but only if you buy me drinks...

I loves them so....

They're always in my top three, these days. It's a constant juggle.

My favorite album is Treasure, it has special memories in addition to being just plain amazing.

And I would be more than happy to be the *or even a* girl in this five guy relationship. But you'll have to make that six guys... my boyfriend loves them too.

And I'm pretty sure you can get Lulu in on this... but she's already getting married, so she'll probably turn you down on that front.

I'll let my icon do the talking.

And, for the record, I'm already engaged. ;)

EDIT: (Ha, and I juuust read Mallochai's post!)

also, I didn't say what my favorite record is...I'm not really sure. Probably Victorialand or Treasure.
