Where did your DGN name come from?

Mine is my name.

Okay, so my first name is really Melissa...but hey, my middle name is Rae, and there you have it - Missie Rae.

Melissa is a popular name, Rae isn't so popular, and I have yet to meet another "Missie Rae".

As a kid, Saecha was my superhero alter ego. So when the internet came along there was really no other choice for a screen name...but alas! Alack! Thrice woe! Saecha was already registered on the first whatever-it-was that I needed a login for (how dare someone steal the name I made up?) So I added the -lyn, just because it sounded nice to me. And here i am!

Mine has many a connotation behind it. When I was a kid, or as the family story goes, I apparently at the cleaning agent Ajax and somehow did not die. I'm sure it messed me up somehow. And then theres the fact that eat bleach and die was taken on AIM when I was in middle school so I used Ajax. Its threatening yet funny!

Mine was a complete accident.

I had not realized there was a section called The Void on DGN. *lol*

I thought of it after having had so many names at different times on the old DGN carnation that I said, "fuck it, I want to come from nothingness." The Void was fresh.

That's why the new name came forth.

[old names were Destiny Eternity and Vamp Nikita]

Mine is the same as my clothing "company" (if you want to call it that). It all started from the fact that my Grandma started teaching me how to sew about 25 years ago, and even when I was only a little bitty kid she'd say that I was going to grow up to be a fashion designer (I completely disagreed back then). Even before I can remember, I had always considered her my guardian angel (All I had to do was run next door to her house & she'd save me from my dysfunctional family). When she died 14 years ago, she kept on as my guardian angel - except now from above (To some it sounds odd, but I have all the proof I need).

Years ago I realized that it would be cheaper for me to create my own vinyl clothes then to buy them & friends wanted me to do the same thing for them & kept coming up with off the wall names for me. I didn't like any of them & decided that it should be an homage to my Grandmother. So I took the idea of 'Angel' and considering that I 'deviated' from her style (vinyl really wasn't one of Grandma's things), "Deviated from my Angel" became more apropos. Which just ended up getting shortened to Deviated Angel.

Rawr baby, rawr!! =P

And people still call me by FarrIL too.....

Also, there was a bit of a toss-up becuase my rea name, spealled backwards, spells "A rat" so I sometime wonder if, wen I sign up for another forum, do I go by FarrIL, Sweet_Divinity or Arat? Or just Rat?

It's from the Abarat series written by Clive Barker which is actually "Odim's Spire" but I didn't want to steal it completely. It's a tower on the island of the Twelfth hour where Christopher Carrion, the lord of midnight, lives.

My name comes from an episode of Seinfeld where Elaine calls Kramer a "hipster dufus" because he did something stupid. I can't quite remember what. I know that the term is actually used a couple of times in the show. Wow. A Seinfeld reference. HOW GOTH. :blushing

My username is one that I use all over the place. No one seems to get it though.

I came up with it a few years ago when I signed up for Live Journal. I'm a practicing vampire, and I wanted to include that in my name somehow. LJ has a rediculously short username character limit. I wanted my name to be truevampiricentity. But since they have such a small character limit, I had to shorten entity to ntt. Thus truevampiricntt was born.

Most people think it says, forgive the language, true vampire cunt. It kind of bugs me, but *shrugs* oh well. As long as I know what it means, that's all that matters.

You can have your complex but that does not change the fact the I don't know you very well.

And you say you're closest to me.

My old screen name is d_lady_bug because "ladybug" was what my parents called me when I was little. I thought that was too cutesy for a goth site, but I didn't want a name that sounded too dark either, because those of you who've met me know that I'm not very "dark".

Princess TigerLily was my favorite character in Peter Pan. Spelling Tyger with a "y" is a nod to the William Blake poem.
