klf are not Goth. Neither are Izods.

No, Izods are goth, and KLF + Izods is more goth because of the irony. Or coincidence. Whichever.

the music bisuness is money.

you have a record deal, its legal loansharking. if album flops you owe that money and some arent to fussy about ho9w they get it back.

you go on tour, your given vouchers to spend at venues where they charge near double what they would, part of that extra goes to the retailer, part to the record company.

you want to go to a club. the record company thanks you for laundering, erm, i mean investing some of its money at the venue.

and if the company wants aspects of your band but not others, it will seperate the band to get what it wants, as cleanly for them as possible, if that means breaking up friendships to get rid of any former bandmates taging allong then so be it

there are a lot of people who will drag you down, and you bite back once, its all over, every recording company will know.

thats why i dont manage any more.

What does KLF stand for?

"Kopyrite Liberations Front" is what is moslty accepted though they never really said what it meant for sure. In most of their rare interviews when asked they changed the name. "Kevin Likes Fruit" is my personal fav they said hehe. Once when asked they replied "We're on a quest to find out what it means. When we find out, we can stop what we're doing now."

other given names:

Keep Looking Forward

Kings of the Lower Frequency

Kool Low Frequency
