I am new on My Space and was wondering if anyone who use My Space could give me a few pointers or tips on using the site especially the IM part.

the IM part is pretty simple all you really need to do is sign up for you and it does the rest itself make sure you hae a url though because thats what your screen name will be on there

I do like (love!) the fact that I actually am friends with and talk to one of the band members from Juno Reactor.....and a few other fav bands. I feel I sorta know them now. It is great for that.

OK OK, I'm a horny old man but not desperate. I'm on myspace. Haven't used the IM feature. Actually going to one of the layout sites, they explain how to load the background. It's pretty easy, just a cut and paste.

Yeah... Transparency is fine.. except when it washes out everything on both layers. I'd make it go away personally.

The text and pictures are ALSO transparent. it's impossible to read. if you could make the friend pics and your profile pics opaque and put the text in opaque bold gray or white, it would probably work.

Look for this part in the code that you used and change the 70's to 85 or 90's. Then you would still have the transparent effect, but make it more readable.

Hey, I didn't see this until now! What blasphemy! The New Order version is the masterpiece IMO. I really don't care for Orgy, but that's the one song that can come on the radio and I'll not change the station, but only because it's a New Order song.

I like the original post-punk stuff, what can I say? Orgy may rock, but what they do will always sound tired and contrived to me. *shrug*
