So, yesterday I went out with a large group of friends to play some golf... pretty safe sport with little chance of actually getting hurt... yeah, right. Take 14 people who don;t play golf.. mix in a few beers and maybe a joint or two... then hours of golf... around hole 16 people start getting bored. Then the golf cart tag game starts... then someone (me) gets hurt. WE had a little crash. His back whell caught my front wheel and we came to a stop. the steering wheel spun out of my hand (or into) as I slammed into it. My left ring and pinky fingers got twist almost back to my wrist. I have at least 2 fractures. I large piece of plastic broke off the steering wheel and tried to slice me to hell, but my wedding ring stopped it... mostly. I had to pull said piece of cart out of my hand and from under my ring and then get my ring off. Anyone know how much it costs to hav a ring made round again?

So hear I am... two broken fingers... almost no use of my left hand (and I'm left handed).

Golf.

I tried so hard not to laugh. Not at you. At the situation. Especially when you said that you feel like a big dumb ass.

What is the sport that causes the most injuries? Football? Soccer? Any guesses?

Golf!!

I didnt believe it myself when I heard it. I heard this a while back so it may have changed, but at that time it was the sport that caused the most injuries.

My mom told me about someone that she knew that had too many beers and fell out of the golf cart and broke two ribs. Hows that for a big dumb ass? LOL!!

Dont feel bad. Stuff like this happens. Just be glad that you didnt break any ribs.

As for the ring, take it into any good jewelry store and they should reshape it for you for free. It only takes a min or so. It did for mine anyway.

i don't want to sound uncaring, but the kind of drunken behavior you describe really irritates me when i'm on the course. whatever happened to manners? hopefully, this will be a lesson you can learn from, and thankfully, it was only yourself you hurt, not an innocent bystander...
