Onyx Posted February 21, 2005 Posted February 21, 2005 Maybe it's the work week bearing down on me Maybe it's because I'm bored with my job Maybe it's because I didn't have much fun this weekend I just feel especially bored, especially down, especially empty on a lot of Sunday afternoons/evenings. *sigh*
Ginevra Posted February 21, 2005 Posted February 21, 2005 I don't have a normal work schedule like most folks do. For instance, this coming week I have Monday and Thursday off, so my "weekend" is whatever I make it. It could be just that time of year, too, when cabin fever is starting to set in if it hasn't already, and people are itching to get back outside again. Are there things that you can do for yourself in a pampering sort of way? Perhaps take a nice long warm bath with a good book? (Yes, I do read in the tub when I take long soaks like that. Others I know abhor having books anywhere near water.) Is there something different you can do? Perhaps a trip to a local museum or the library could help make a change of pace?
gothicmom Posted February 21, 2005 Posted February 21, 2005 Today has been rather boring.....it's snowing nonstop.....sinuses are being funky....not much on TV.....don't feel like reading.....not many people on line today. Blah
JaneDead Posted February 21, 2005 Posted February 21, 2005 i have always disliked sundays. as a kid it was going to school monday- and during the summer it was just a boring day. as a young adult it was going to work the next day mostly. tho 2 of my jobs i had to work sundays sometimes and i hated that too. now i don't work but sundays are just boring to me for the most part. i don't mind them all the time but today was one of those sundays. the snow got to me and there was not much to do around here (except clean and i didn't want to do that) and i didn't want to drive out in the snow in my "new" mini van. not sure how it would handle this. i'm just glad the day is over. there are some shows i like to watch sunday nights so i will be doing that and then hopefully just go to bed early for once.
gothicmom Posted February 21, 2005 Posted February 21, 2005 I like to watch Extreme Makeover Home Edition.

SpidersMoment Posted February 21, 2005 Posted February 21, 2005 I have Cabin Fever, big time. And it sucks cuz people are to worried to go out cuz of the snow. They're cutting back on hours at work, so now i only work 4 days in the next two weeks. so i have a shit load of days off. Still bored. We need a group hug. Heh
Brenda Starrr Posted February 21, 2005 Posted February 21, 2005 I love Sundays when I'm off. However, I spent this one sick in bed. Therefore, it blew.
