Fierce Critter Posted September 5, 2006 Posted September 5, 2006 I love this guy's pinups. I might even let Jon look at them. One example:
Homicidalheathen Posted September 5, 2006 Posted September 5, 2006 Sorry, but she is not fat, and neither are you. Full figured.....not fat....... There is a difference. And, she looks good to me.
Homicidalheathen Posted September 5, 2006 Posted September 5, 2006 Voluptuous.......not fat. Me likes some curves.
torn asunder Posted September 5, 2006 Posted September 5, 2006 as an aside, how is it that someone who's so against the stigma of people labeling others fat, can title a thread "fat chicks"!? just curious...
Homicidalheathen Posted September 5, 2006 Posted September 5, 2006 Might I add, I did some xrated pics for a freind who was...yah...morbidly obese..... they came out well.. she has lost some weight....put some back on..... honestly......she looks better kinda in between. Kinda heavy.....really....she does. Everyone is different.
Fierce Critter Posted September 6, 2006 Author Posted September 6, 2006 I am not against the label. I use it because, duh, I am fat. I don't see the term itself as particularly nasty. Fat is fat. Yes, some people, like the very kind HH there, prefer "softer" terms like "full figured" or "plus sized" or zaftig, Rubensesque (actually, most say "Rubenesque" and I think that's grammatically incorrect), voluptuous, what have you. I don't mind those terms, either. It's people who use "fat" as a slur and who use it as a means of setting themselves above or putting people like me or other "fat chicks" in some negative category based SOLELY on our size that I have issue with. Just as you have argued that I shouldn't be offended when people use terms like "Polack", (which is another thread and which does offend me), I have come to be comfortable referring to myself simply as fat. Maybe I'm unconsciously doing what you think I should do with terms like Polack - take it's power away by using it myself or not being offended when it's used in regard to me. Get me?
Gothmama25 Posted September 6, 2006 Posted September 6, 2006 Its not a bad thing to be a fat chick cause thats what guys want now. They don't like the slender girls any more so I guess I'm out of luck.
LuluVox Posted September 6, 2006 Posted September 6, 2006 Where's the pin-up art of girls with big hips and no breasts? Yeah, I guess that's not fashionable yet.

People still don't give the larger ladies any respect these days. Back when swimsuits for ladies involved a dress heh.

You are beautiful in your pic and I want to meet the mind behind the beauty. FC, we've met and you are a beautiful lady.

You are beautiful in your pic and I want to meet the mind behind the beauty. You've got that all backwards. You've met her mind, it's on here. You haven't met her beauty because a picture can't really hold a person's beauty. Mostly because it's a 2D image in a 3D world.

That's one of the most insightful things I've ever read, anywhere. "You've met her mind, it's on here." This is taking this off-topic, and I'm going to make it a new thread somewhere, 'cause I absolutely LOVE THAT.
