Paper Hearts Posted September 21, 2006 Posted September 21, 2006 Oh you're right; it's not a more romantic setting. Hee Haw is more exciting.
Head Wreck Posted September 21, 2006 Posted September 21, 2006 add insult to injry, it was his second tour in the late 70's (he was a soldier), while he recovered his rgiment got sent to germany, he was asked to do a 3rd tour and he bought himself out
Paper Hearts Posted September 21, 2006 Posted September 21, 2006 But I do think it makes people more aware of their humanity...rather making them lethargic.
Paper Hearts Posted September 21, 2006 Posted September 21, 2006 Albeit aware and bullet riddled, you're right. I don't find any value in that part of it.
Gaf The Horse With Tears Posted September 21, 2006 Posted September 21, 2006 Wow. You have a great deal of hate in you. I didn't know anyone on the board had your level of venom.
BrassFusion Posted September 21, 2006 Posted September 21, 2006 Wow. You have a great deal of hate in you. I didn't know anyone on the board had your level of venom. Well, you've only been here about a month... I know how it is to be so optimistic about people and then a few of them just surprise you more and more as you get to know them better...
LuluVox Posted September 21, 2006 Author Posted September 21, 2006 Wow. You have a great deal of hate in you. I didn't know anyone on the board had your level of venom. I used to be pretty bad myself. Then I think I grew up. Ps) New Order and Thom Yorke! (Yes, I have deemed the Thom Yorke portions of this thread still on-topic somehow.)
Head Wreck Posted September 21, 2006 Posted September 21, 2006 i've grown more cynical with age. cynicism and paranioa are good survival instincts, but i do agree common curtosy at all times. evcen when torturing, its so "hollywood sadistic english bad guy", Malcom McDowel Chic
mallochai Posted September 21, 2006 Posted September 21, 2006 I agree with you that Orgy is slop and New Order was/is a great. I just didn't want to appear to always agree with you, so I didn't say anything. My only issue with New Order is that when I listen to them, I can't help thinking about Ian Curtis...and how he's not there...and I wonder where he is at...and what he's thinking about...and whether he's thinking about me. But, alas, once again I've run out of wine... My god it stinks in here, it stinks of you wondering about Ian, wondering where he could be, who is with, what he is thinking, if he's thinking of you, and whether he'll ever return some day.

And yet again, I've run out of wine! Yet my party rages on through the night; so I'm FORCED to borrow some of yours!
