Aralis Posted October 2, 2006 Posted October 2, 2006 So I have not been to a dentist in quite a long while. My gums are in bad shape and I have been looking online for something to buy that would help reverse the effects. I have been doing some reading on Neem bark and the effects of it. I am thinking about buying some Neem toothpaste and see if it helps my gums at all. Anyone ever use Neem toothpaste or mouth wash or know of any awesome products that will help my unhappy gums?
Vampyro Posted October 2, 2006 Posted October 2, 2006 Bacardi 151 proof... that's enough alcohol to kill anything infesting your mouth... it's also potent enough to blow fireballs too. And just remember to brush and floss daily i guess... Go to the dentists if you loose any teeth trying it my way... GOOD LUCK!
sass_in_the_pants Posted October 2, 2006 Posted October 2, 2006 They have prescription mouthwash for gingivitis. It's only about $5 (that's not my insurance co-pay, that's what the stuff actually costs. It's pretty cheap.) A dentist can prescribe it.
Onyx Posted October 2, 2006 Posted October 2, 2006 Really, nothing is going to substitute for a professional cleaning. If you can't do that, keeping up with daily flossing, along with a good mouthwash like Crest or Listerine will help some. The flossing helps more than anything.
HipsterDufus Posted October 2, 2006 Posted October 2, 2006 We here at Dental Gingivitis Negators (or DGN for short) recommend a large hammer. This recommendation is based on absolutely no factual evidence, but we figure if the hammer we use is strong enough to kill a rat... a very large rat, mind you; it's strong enough for gingivitis. I think someone told me that rats are the leading cause of the gum disease known as GINGIVITIS.
