This movie is not for the sensitive when it comes to language & unusual sex.

But my husband and I laughed our asses off.

It's kinda hard to describe this film. On the one hand, the characters are so freakin' unlikeable, you don't know whether to be offended by their language/actions, or laugh like crazy.

Guess it's up to the viewer to decide.

Extras include outtakes, a few deleted scenes, a making-of, etc.

They didn't have the unrrated version, so I can't comment on that.

i agree with all that ^^

i was not sure how i would feel about this but it was funny. and it is hard to describe it you are right. like do you feel bad for the kid he is taking advantage of? or is that just super funny too? i was feeling a bit of both.

I liked it. Although i thought of it more as a drama. I did get some good laughs from it, but mostly i saw it as a introspective "what is my life about?" comentary/drama rather than a comedy.

I was suprized actually. I was expecting some sort of fluffy , fairly pointless "Ernest Saves Christmas" type thing. heh

@ ST_Massy

Its got the same "feel" as ghost world (at least the feeling i got from it) with a similar "self searching" drama theme, with plenty of comedy moments.

If i had to pick , i'd go with Ghost World as the better of the two , but both are good.

A movie with similar theme / feel / "point(s)" that i think is a real masterpeice although a lot more "deep" and much thinner on the comedy aspect ... is American Beauty.

I saw "Badder Santa" which is technically the unedited version of the movie. I didn't see "Bad Santa" in the theaters.

I wasn't terrifically impressed with the movie myself. But then it could be mainly because I'm not taken with Billy Bob Thornton. While I realise that it was the main crux of the storyline, I think it could have been a good movie as it was without the whole Santa slant.

I dunno. Perhaps I just don't appreciate the type of humour presented in the film.

Ginny does that mean "i didnt like it" ? Myself i wasnt terrificlly impressed with it either, but that could mean , "i hated" it or thought it was "pretty good" or any other rating just short of "great".

Myself i wouldnt "recomend" this movie to anyone, but when asked i'd have to say ... hrmm... er... yeah i liked it.

Not that its a big issue. Just curious.

heh Yes, you're right, Troy. I didn't like the movie nor would I recommend it to anyone else. It doesn't take a script writing giant to come up with lines for actors that ever other word is f*ck.
