Hellion Posted October 11, 2006 Posted October 11, 2006 :devil I was in a really good mood earlier at work today, when I got a call from my brother and sister, that my uncle, Who I considered one of my favorite family relatives, died from complications of the liver. He will definately be missed.Right now I have no info on when the funeral will be,other than that people at work were very understanding and my boss told me that if I need a day or two off,its not a problem. more than likely I won't be taking any days off.Right now some alcohol sounds really good right now,I'll have to wait till I get to CC this Saturday. The part that really sucks is I was planning on visiting him,in a week, they said he had 2 months to live, and when I first heard about it,that was only three weeks ago.nough said.
Onyx Posted October 11, 2006 Posted October 11, 2006 Very sorry to hear of your pain. I guess one good thing though is that he didn't have to suffer very long, but I know it's still hard, especially when you didn't get a chance to go see him. ((((hugs))))
Hellion Posted October 11, 2006 Author Posted October 11, 2006 I'd prefer it to be a closed casket funeral,IMO,I'd rather remember the people I knew, when they were alive, and talking, thats just how I feel.well its tomarrow thats all I know.
Steven Posted October 12, 2006 Posted October 12, 2006 Crank, I just now saw this thread and just wanted to tell you how sorry that I am and that I hope your ok. Get ahold of me if you need to... Steven

Homicidalheathen Posted October 12, 2006 Posted October 12, 2006 Sorry. I hope things look better for you soon, and that in his passing you remember all the good times.
Morbid Side Posted October 12, 2006 Posted October 12, 2006 Sorry to hear about your loss, I send my deepest condolences.
Hellion Posted October 12, 2006 Author Posted October 12, 2006 :devil Thankyou everyone, thankyou very much, the funeral was today, and everything is now over with. The only other thing that really upset me was my dad did not even try to get back with anyone, and he had kept his cell phone off, while he is in Idaho hunting,he could'nt even at least return a call.My uncle was his younger brother and IMO,if my older brother had died I would have stopped whatever I was doing and been right there for him.Now you know why I never talk much of my father, because he is self centered. (Won't go into details) Now back to the original subject, since my uncle was in the 101rst airborne division,in Vietnam,he went through alot of hell, seeing all the horrifying things let alone Agent Orange poisoning. I will always miss him and he will never be forgotten. By the way he definately had one sence of humor.R.I.P.
DeadBurgerKing (10) Posted October 12, 2006 Posted October 12, 2006 There's nothing worse than having to see a relative live through flashbacks of war...
