While it is ironic, and a LITTLE funny, we really don't know that that guy was a terrorist. Look at his perspective. I mean, WE haven't really suffered a large-scale military invasion in our lifetimes, been economically subjugated by some imperialistic pseudodemocracy that thinks it's a utopia and believes it has God's Official Dispensation (GOD for short, heh) to assimilate the rest of the world.

by the way - many of your suicide bombers are recruited off the streets and like homeboy here, are not always so polished. I noticed he's not standing in proud hot foot martyrdom for Allah but is actually going "fuck, fire is some hot shit and its all over me"

I also noticed that the flag burners oh so passionate background bretheren who are applauding his anti american efforts simply shrink back when he catches his ass on fire. It wasn't a gun, it was a fake American flag, and not a very well drawn one, at that. I didn't notice him stabbing any Americans in the face, so I don't automatically lump him in with the people who do.

It's not nitpicking, it's classic american "innocent until proven guilty." we have no reason to believe that that guy in particular would ever strap a bomb around himself until he actually does it.
