Paper Hearts Posted October 26, 2006 Posted October 26, 2006 i find vinyls taste good, original 78's taste of cat wee, and cd's are as bland as local mcdonalds salads, erm i mean lecucce leaf Funny, because I have a copy of Guitar Wolf's Kung Fu Ramone, that my cat felt the need to shower in piss, thereby improving it, I think, since it is a Guitar Wolf album, after all. She's such a little artist, that cat. -I didn't actually taste it however, in fact I cleaned it off. http://www.guitarwolf.net/main.html
BrassFusion Posted October 27, 2006 Posted October 27, 2006 I always hear people on here dig on music for "sucking" without giving any reason for their opinions. When I bashed New Order... I had evidence. I can tell you why some of their songs (the ones that I've heard, I can't judge the ones I HAVEN'T heard) suck in the context of Western music, and believe me, it's not just an "opinion." Some of the groups on that list suck because they're repetative. One of their songs sounds just like any other you listen to, and the lyrics are vapid and the chord structures uncreative... in the context of their other work. I'm talking about Avril Lavigne, btw.

What does that have to do with anything? Start another thread if you want to try to get people to dissect their musical tastes for you.

Guest Megalicious Posted November 2, 2006 Posted November 2, 2006 This quiz is gross. I second that Amanda, it's craptastic.

JaneDead Posted November 2, 2006 Posted November 2, 2006 as much as that quiz was gross it is actually true that i mainly like classic rock, 80's and 90's alternative, gangsta rap and old school rap. i like goth and industrial too but they were not exactly options. neither were "one hit wonders"
Guest Game of Chance Posted November 3, 2006 Posted November 3, 2006 Aye, this quiz sucked. The only band I checked was the Sex Pistols.

Gothmama25 Posted November 4, 2006 Author Posted November 4, 2006 Okay back to the subject a quiz with better choices should be created to fit all of us better. Now all we need is someone to create the quiz. I would but I don't know what bands to select for the choices.
BrassFusion Posted November 4, 2006 Posted November 4, 2006 The only way it can be a really valid quiz is if you included every band ever and there was a different result category for each one of those bands. And while I'm not, say... Aerosmith's biggest fan (they're not even represented on my iPod), I know some of their songs, and they're mostly fun to listen to. So I checked them. I'm not really pretentious about my taste in music, I suppose.
