I'm not sure that i totally buy into somones message being invalid , due to the fact that they themselves may not be living up to that message. "Hypocrite" doesn't really do much for me as an insult. I dont know anyone that isn't a hypocrite at least in some form or another.

I think as soon as somone says they are not a hypocrite they just proved themselves wrong.

Yeah, but when was the last time you mobilized thousands of people to oppress a sexual minority that you were, yourself, a member of? This is hypocrisy in the extreme. I'll admit that I debate christians and republicans, and try to convince them that what they believe is wrong, but I'll be damned if I'll push for legislation that denies them rights the secular progressives enjoy.
