Dgn Night Aftermath Nov. 4th

I just wanted to post this while its still fresh in my head.

It was a fun night. Although not alot of people were in attendence. Its usually jam packed up in there but that night it wasn't. Not alot of DGNers were there as well. Plus they moved the couch out of the DGN section. I left before 2am cause I got invited to go somewhere else. Hope to see a better attendence from DGN next week.

Jon and I were there.

It was a pretty low-key evening for us, but we really enjoyed ourselves.

We mostly sat around people-watching. Checked in with some DGN'ers like Reaper and his friend whose name is escaping me at the moment (she was lovely, by the way, and seemed sweet), Crank & Rambo (you two are like typical brothers. I love you guys. ), Nienna & Shade (What the heck was the name of that game, Shade???), and a couple others.

I was feeling a touch surly. We were sitting on the benches by the dancefloor, and I was enjoying a sort of reclining position, ferally embracing my man's leg when Steve Yzerman came by and said, "Don't sleep!" and I said, "I'M NOT SLEEPING - FUCK OFF" which Jon got a huge kick out of.

There were an awful lot of tourists there last night. It was making me cranky.

I liked the music being played for listenability, but not for dancing. But the one song I tried to dance to I had to quit because my legs started locking up and I didn't want to end up on my ass on that disgusting floor.

Time to bust out DDR and exercise these atrophied limbs.

I also have decided I don't need to drink what I was drinking anymore. It upset my stomache to the point that I had to eat something out of the vending machine, and Jon wisely got me some ginger ale. Made my tummy all better. But I have to find a new drink.

Anyway, yeah it was ok. Got used to the environment as usual and left early. Have another someone I am bringing this next weekend. Maybe I will dress the part moreso this time around.
