Troy Spiral (13) Posted November 9, 2006 Posted November 9, 2006 SCARY? Hell half of them movies are not even slightly scary. Although almost all of them are fairly good on some level. Even if its just a once-through popcorn flick.
Gothmama25 Posted November 9, 2006 Posted November 9, 2006 I saw that show. I'm sorry but the wizard of oz & willy wonka and the chocolate factory are not scary at all.

Must disagree with you about Willie Wonka... And I am soooo happy with some of the other choices.... Near Dark Audition to name a few

DeadBurgerKing (10) Posted November 9, 2006 Posted November 9, 2006 This aired last year too during halloween...I agree, for the most part, with Troy...though it also depends how old you were when u seen these movies...like pharoh, I was raised on "Jaws"...scared the shit out of me, along with nightmare on elm street...though watching them now I realize how cheesy "Jaws" is and how awesome it'd be to be Freddy's sidekick...

I'm sorry but the wizard of oz & willy wonka and the chocolate factory are not scary at all. willy wonka scared the shit out of me as a kid - i tried to watch it again last year & it made me so uncomfortable i had to turn the channel! :fear
Troy Spiral (13) Posted November 10, 2006 Posted November 10, 2006 Wizard of Oz has long been said to be scary for children. The witch and the flying bat/monkies in particular have been pointed out as maybe being a bit too much for kids. The woman that played the Witch actually has been said to scare kids IRL. Willy Wokna is creepy in a way, the wacko-jacko sort of way. The pedofile overtones seem fairly evident now that im pondering it. haha. Willy sort of seems like Micheal Jackson. He might NOT be a pedofile, but he fits the profile. Animals in his backyard and a big funhouse... HRMM. Let your kids go there and you might be just asking for trouble. Hell i would'nt even wana let my kids go to church.
