Just Like The Auto Industry

I was really surprised that we are shutting down for a week in Dec, between Xmas and New Years Eve,

We don't do any mfg for the auto industry,but wtf I guess I will have to catch up on alot of beer drinkingLOL!!

Other than that we will be back to work the beginning of the year,and we will also shut down for the week of th Fourth of July also.

those two weeks are typical automotive break times - i believe it's line change-overs for model years, but i'm not sure... i'm in that field, and we do the same for shut-downs...

The model changeovers usually happen in the summer so the new models are out by early Fall. That doesn't hold true so much these days though.

perhaps some of the people you supply parts for, are connected to the auto industry in some way you're not aware of!?
