Hellion Posted November 28, 2006 Posted November 28, 2006 I was really surprised that we are shutting down for a week in Dec, between Xmas and New Years Eve, We don't do any mfg for the auto industry, but wtf I guess I will have to catch up on alot of beer drinkingLOL!! Other than that we will be back to work the beginning of the year, and we will also shut down for the week of th Fourth of July also.
torn asunder Posted November 29, 2006 Posted November 29, 2006 those two weeks are typical automotive break times - i believe it's line change-overs for model years, but i'm not sure... i'm in that field, and we do the same for shut-downs...

Naw. They're just lazy. I kid. The model changeovers usually happen in the summer so the new models are out by early Fall. That doesn't hold true so much these days though.
