I feel a bit better now when I go out without mine.

I didn't even recognize J.LO.

I am both amused at seeing celebs looking "normal", and appalled at the invasion of their space.

Heh. It's one reason I quit pursuing a possible music career seriously. I really debated the perks - of which there are maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaany - with the lost of privacy.

I likes my privacy.

I heard Carly Simon was almost a total recluse. Very shy.

I KNOW did you SEE those makeupless chicks?

You know, sometimes I watch Saturday Night Live (not much this season, admittedly), and I think about how very different some of these people look when they're in make-up and hair to play everything from very ugly, unattractive characters to knock-out bombshells. And how with the right styling and primping, you can really get nice results from probably just about any facial structure.

I view these "Stars without make-up!" pieces the same way. The "Oh my god, she's hideous" reaction is countered by the, "but no, she's really not - we know that."

Dunno. Overthinking methinks. :)
