I know me,DC,Xanthein,and a new friend are going to be there,

My friend Isela who is from Texas is going to have a gothic introduction to

City Club,and some of the other clubs in and around Detroit.

Hopfully this New Years Eve will be better than last.

I had planned on vacation, to Tennessee to see family, but after the court hearing today did not go well, it looks like I'll be out a lot of money for broken promises and staying here within phone reach instead.

This year, however, he won't be puking on his shoes and I won't be frantically trying to get a hotel room so we won't endanger ourselves or others driving home.

I tend to always go to City Club for New Years. I will probably end up doing it this year as well. I was hoping that Marc Breckenridge would have his preNew Years party up in the hotel but he decided not to once again this year. Was always a blast hanging out up there with other people, alcohol, food, and music. I don't know, we'll see what happens.

I will be in flight back here and too tired to go after Disney.

Why dont Dan just drive Rochelle? I'd take him but my nights are unpredictable and I like driving alone to there just in case I meet a girl and we decide to go somewhere. I just go alone always.

But there's no way I'll let that happen again. No, we're off booze for now. And - at least on my end - that's a promise.

To be honest, I feel a touch self-conscious and shy when I don't drink in social situations, so I honestly hope I don't end up too uptight to enjoy myself without a little 80% in me, especially on an occasion like New Years. I'd like to think I'm beyond that sort of "need", but years of repression & a somewhat sheltered upbringing have made the stigma run deep and difficult to overcome.

One exception, however - we will be enjoying our "complimentary" glass of champagne.
