actually my friend mentioned Going to LCC she has been there once and liked it, any how i was thinking with all the talk going on..... i dont want to be an old "hippie" and since i am sort of introducing my friend to the whole goth scene i see it only fair to explore what ever is out there so she can find her own nitch, and perhaps i might find a new place to love........ if all else fails we will be at LCC i only get two fridays (my only two nights a month to go out) a month to go out and i plan to use them wisely even if i end up at the ole "stand by".

I think your being overly influnced by a few posters about LCC on friday. Its been the defacto 18+ "scene" hangout for a long time. There are tons of younger people there, these newer places , sometimes often have an older "average age" than CC does due to it always being 18+ at CC and its hit-or-miss often on these other newer places that pop up if they are 18+ or 21+ and the kids just sort of instictivly know they can get into CC if they are 18+ . Often thats a common in-joke about looking at peoples hand to determine if they are legal or not.

I rarely go on friday usually , due to the fact that , if i am going to go out it will be saturday, and two days in a row is a bit rough on me. I tend to just like to relax on friday and maybe do dinner / movie type thing that day (if anything) , and LCC on saturday. If i was to go out on friday i'd probably check out Luna or CC on friday, then LCC on saturday on the rare instance when i did go out two nights in a row.

If your looking for a "club" to go to on friday, and you have an under 21 with you, LCC seems like a good choice, especially since they've already mentioned that they might be interested.

Yes this is comming from the guy that sometimes seems like hes "against" LCC on fridays, but thats not the case.

Yeah avoid Mephisto's on Fridays, this is comming from an employee.

Now Wednesdays and Saturdays you will enjoy. Fridays on the 2nd floor aren't bad since it's disco/80's pop/new wave done by my friend DJ Todd, but I only reccomend it if you get into that sort of thing. I know I have fun and there are a few industrial kids who show up even despite the bad music DJ Gleek plays (because he has to, even he doesn't like it but it is extra cash).

i think the old hippie thing struck me, i can see how it could happen and well frankly i never want any one looking at me like an "OLD GOTH". I can just see my kids telling there friends "dont mind my mom she is an old goth from the 90's" :

the last time i took my friend with em to LCC, i glanced over at her hand to see what they put on it, and then i made some crack about how it has been so long since *cough* i got an X on my hand.......

Besides that i have wanted to check out other clubs, actually i have wanted to attend certian events at other clubs but alas work and kids have made that hard, ( i cant wait till school is out then i can escape on week nights once in a while) I more or less want to get the most out of my nights out, if LCC happens to be the only happening place on friday nights than thats where i wiil make the most out of my night. I do want to explore the scene more but perhaps there is some cosmic reason why i must not.....

any how I thank you guys for your reply and if you can think of anything let me know.......Other wise i will be at Lcc on Friday with lestat and Under 21 (squee) Friend in tow...........
