Its late...I was reading a semi-scary/disturbing book...I went to use the restroom...heard floorboards creaking...thought it was someone coming up the stairs (I'm the only person awake)...and freaked the FUCK out.

Locked myself in the bathroom.

Until I worked up my courage to open the door...it could've been the cats. They were in the hallway...it just sounded so LOUD. Eep...
