Just finished writing a thank you letter to Monroe County CMH for interviewing me last week. They had 7 candidates, I was only the second, the told me they loved the first candidate but that person did not have experience and was not a licensed Social Worker..since I am, they said I already beat that one, that's one down, five to go. I know there last candidate was today so I should know very soon. It was a good sign that they gave me a tour, and told me I will hear from them...hmm, well actions speak so we shall see, they may of had a Master level Social Worker apply if that's the case I am ass out. MSW will always trump a BSW if licensed. I need to go to grad school I can finish in 10 months if I do it full time and 2 years part time, damn it's simple, the BSW program was the hardest everyone says. Anyhow, I did get an official offer from the home I work for today as a Support Coordinator, however, they need me to relocate up to Macomb and I don't have the funds to do that right now..still I have until Friday to accept the offer. I hope Monroe county makes a decision first.....I am happy the county actually even interviewed me. Crossing fingers I get in, the benefits are great.

Although I've only had about 4 hours of sleep in the last 24 hours, it's time to get to work...currently researching baseboard heater pricing and various forms of installation. The house I'm working on at the moment is quite the menagerie of various styles and pre-code construction which all must be corrected before I can add new features and/or close up any walls.

Currently mastering the intricate technique of the art form of the pass out.

Although I limited the amount of outdoor work exposure I did during the 94 degree part of the morning and didn't cut grass until well after the sun went down (8 - 10 pm) I still ended up finishing yesterday off in 90 degree weather. That, and the lack of sleep just compounded things causing me to blink 30 minutes away at a time.

Who knows, I blink again and it just might be one o'clock in the afternoon...

On a brief lunch break from porch work

Just enjoying the cool evening after a bike ride with my hubby. So excited about our move to Leipzig. Heres pictures of the apartment we are renting located centrally in Leipzig near everything. Off a main intersection with street trams(strassebahn), near the main train station goth clubs, bars like the renowned and very old bar Auerbachs Kellar Theres also an Absinth Bar and a really cool Goth Club called Dark Flower. Check it out and theres a 3D tour its really cool. http://darkflower.info/de/ Theres even loads of shops selling gothic clothing and accessories as well as a second hand goth shop. And of course the yearly Wave Gotik Treffen which almost is the whole week. The festival itself is around 4 days but pre and after parties turn the town black for pretty much the whole week.

I am also working on designs and trying to make extra much needed moola right now and getting my gothic art, decor, crafting and accessory stuff on the go. I can make so much and once I have the supplies nothing can stop me.

These are photos of our new Lair which we are soon to rent. I cant wait to do the wallpaper and and redecorate it into our dark dwelling. Of course I will be encouraging any friends from both the Detroit, LA and German scenes to come visit and crash for the festivals. Anyways must hop into bed.
