Fierce Critter Posted March 10, 2005 Posted March 10, 2005 On our old computer, we used Adaptec Easy CD creator. The new computer came with Windows Media player, and that's all we have at the moment. I hate the way it's set up for burning CD's. In particular, no easy way to switch from either audio or data disc. What do you use? I'm thinking of downloading Adaptec's Easy CD creator for XP - though that program wasn't all that great, either. At least I liked it better than using WMP.
Vater Araignee Posted March 10, 2005 Posted March 10, 2005 One word Black oops sorry that would be Nero. I have some Ahem gack if you need them. LIBERATE INFORMATION!
Daniel Posted March 10, 2005 Posted March 10, 2005 For all general uses, Nero is the best, IMO. When it comes to mastering my own music, I use the Sonic Foundry CD Architech.
Scary Guy Posted March 10, 2005 Posted March 10, 2005 Nero, I've been using it ALL MORNING. Burned about 1/2 a stack so far going CD to CD.
Ginevra Posted March 10, 2005 Posted March 10, 2005 Nero's the bomb, truly. It's easy to use for someone who only occasionally burns CDs or may not be an IT pro or it can be used for more advanced things.
The_Dark Posted March 10, 2005 Posted March 10, 2005 I use the following depending on what I am doing: Roxio EZ-CD Nero Burning Rom Alcohol 120% DVD Shrink DVD Decryptor
Daniel Posted March 10, 2005 Posted March 10, 2005 Burning DVDs does get more complicated. I have half a dozen programs I use depending on how I get the data I am burning onto DVD.
Rivet_HeadINC Posted March 13, 2005 Posted March 13, 2005 For CD's I use my I-Tunes, but I have used NERO before and I was very happy with it. I'm still in the Dark Ages when it comes to DVD Burners though.
