The Cure: Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me -- The Reissue

So, for Christmas I got the remastered, comes-with-an-extra-disc-of-rarities edition of Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me, but when I cracked it open, I noticed it had no booklet, unlike the others in the series I already have -- they all have very thick, detailed booklets -- so I was just wondering, for anybody else who has the reissue: is there really no booklet at all, or is mine just missing it?? I gotsta know!

Hmmm.. haven't gotten that reissue yet. Which means I have no place trying to answer this question... hmmm....

I do wonder though, have you felt that getting the reissues has been worth it? I've been pretty disappointed with the extra discs for the most part. Lots of noise, which is not how I prefer my cure.

I guess I'm kind of a "live music snob," I don't much care for it unless I'm there.

I've liked getting the reissues of the older albums more for the remastering factor than the extra-disc factor. (And also because some of those early CDs that I've had for 10 years or so were getting ready to wear out, or something horrible had happened to the liner notes, etc.) You're right about the endless demos and live bits being disappointing. Actually, though, on Kiss Me and Head on the Door, at least, the few live songs that are included, and even some of the Robert Smith-home demos, are quite nice. (I think the only reissues I don't have are Pornography and Faith, so I don't know what those have got.)

that happens sometimes i bought a cd a few months ago opened it and there wasnt even a cd in the case

just ask for the recepete and get another copy

one two other note i cant spell and i need to pick up the reissue of placebos first cd

Ar, I didn't know they'd reissued any Placebo. Another to add to the list of things I need.

Yeah, that's what I'll do most likely; I'm just trying to find out if there was a booklet to begin with, otherwise going to the store and demanding one with a booklet might seem a little psycho. :D

not really just say what the problem was and they will replace it youll probally have to open the new one in the store but thats all there is to it really
