What's The Best And Worst Gift You Gave This Year?

best gift I gave - mp3 player for my dad. In and of itself, it's a good gift, but what makes this a FANTASTIC gift, is that I already downloaded a bunch of songs to it. I put on some of the bands that I knew he liked (yes, I cringed to know that Cher and Meatloaf would now be in my music files, but I kept reminding myself that this is what HE likes, not what I like). I looked up number 1 hits from 1950 - 65, and downloaded those. Some of them I hadn't even heard of. When my dad started playing the songs, he was like "Alley oop? You got Alley oop? How did you know?! Roy Rodgers? You have Roy Rodgers!"

Yeah, that was WAY cooler than some dumb tie. Dad started dancing around the living room and singing along. I don't know when I've seen him this happy. BEST GIFT EVER.

Worst - I gave these guns that shot foam discs to my 8 year old cousins. They proceeded to beat the crap out of eachother with them and both ended up in time out for most of Christmas. Woops.

And my wish - i wish I could have given my aunty some new blood. Hers isn't working so good.

I gave my kids like two months worth of body care products! Best gift i could have gotten them as far as i am concered but as far as they are concerned they stunk cause no one want to brush there teeth @ 7, 9, 11!

Best Gift i gave was a pound of home made fudge (i made it) to my mother in law she had been asking for it for like a year and she talked about it all day.

I persoanlly received towels and bathroom stuff, ya know like baskets and soap holders for the bath room i dont even have finished nor will i know when it will be finished and Pj's that did not fit WOO! WOO! notice my sarcasm?

I did however get some cute respectable cloths (fer church and i needed em bad casue my closet is so not respectable!) a blender in stainless, margaritias are back on! and an Ipod Nano thats a wicked shade of pink but i have yet to open it and use it casue even though i know is is supposed to be a super duper cool gift i am really not all that interested in it.

My best and worst was the $60 bottle of 10 year old french red wine that I have saved for 5 years. I was giving it to my father's girlfriend....unfortunately it fell out of the car when I opened the hatch and broke on the driveway.
