Pizza Topping

I've been making heaps of pizzas lately, but I've started to run out of inspiration in the topping area.

What do you guys put on your pizzas?

#1 favorite: Mushrooms

Other toppings I like when ordering from a pizza joint:

chicken

mushrooms

bacon

mushrooms

and mushrooms.

When we go to Cici's, I have a really absurd love of their macaroni & cheese pizzas. Ordinarily, I'm not big on mixing my starches. But for some reason, it really works. Nummy.

They also make a barbecue pizza - barbecue sauce, some kind of meat (I have never figured out if it's chicken or pork), and cheddar cheese.

I like Buffalo Chicken ones. Chicken, buffalo wing sauce, cheese.

Taco ones are great. PIzza sauce, burger or sausage, tomatoes, lettuce, cheddar cheese (put the lettuce, tomatoes & cheddar on AFTER the pizza is cooked)

They make an alfredo chicken one - alfredo sauce, chicken, mozzarella, mushrooms, spinach. It's alright.

Holy crap! That's some serious "food for thought"!

It's like using a pizza base as a plate for another meal!

Here we just do normal stuff like cheese, mushrooms (of course), pepperoni, tomato, meat, you know, stuff like that. Have even seen taco pizzas, but I don't think I've ever come across pasta on pizza! This could get very interesting, and messy!

I think that BBQ Chicken is a favourite everywhere, very nice!

Yeah. Ordinarily, I try to stay away from mixing too many breads at one meal, and when I first heard of the Mac & Cheese pizza, I thought it was stupid. Until I tried it.

It's just freaking delicious.

I kinda started doing the chicken bacon and ranch thing on a pizza before it kicked off really big......but I also like a double bacon double cheese pizza

I can't remember if they use a sauce for the potato pizza, but I'm pretty sure they don't.

So, pizza crust then scalloped sliced potatos and multiple cheezes. This is best dipped in large quantities of sour cream, but you could try apple sauce.

Also BBQ Chicken pizza from Pizza Hut ... BLT pizza from California Pizza Kitchen (made with Mayo instead of sauce), even some places make it with Ranch ... not too bad.

I also like pizza I make here at home. I just use Pizza crust, brushed with extra virgin olive oil, crust sprinkled with parmeasen cheese and garlic, Mozz. cheese and pepperoni ... but OMG, it's good.

this place out by my house used to make a coney dog pizza... little hot dog slices and chili and mustard and shit, lol.

but the pizzas i make are so much like rayne's. i like to experiment with seasonings of course, but just give me some zingy sauce and a few cheeses and PEPPEROOONNIIII

My favorite is Hawaiian, i LOVE pineapple on pizza, it adds the sweet which makes my mouth water. i love the mac n cheese at CI CI, and Alfredo isn't bad. i also like the BBQ chicken at Marcos pizza, however i don't like onions much on pizza. mainly because they crunch and i don't like crunch on my pizza

If you are experimenting at home and using what is available, you can make some very interesting pizzas. Perhaps not all t the same time, but I have used, feta cheese, corn, balogna, taco meat, mustard, hot dog slices, salami, salsa....

Crust:

Parsley and Rosemarry with garlic and olive oil.

Man there are definitely some good choices here, I should have a huge pizza night and just make all of them!

One thing I just can't handle though is seafood on pizza, it just doesn't work for me!

Man, I just ate another pizza and didn't even recognise the significance! I think I've had a pizza everyday for the last three days. I've gotta find something healthier to eat. But you know, I'm on Holidays, yo're just lying around watching the cricket and you've got to eat. I know, Pizza Brilliant!

I worked at Pizza hut when I was young and poor and its all I ate for 6 months and I was fine. Well, with the occasional salad and back then, we had meatball sandwitches. Yum.

I've found that using steak sauce in place of traditional pizza sauce makes it taste great. Then you can use a variety of different steak sauces for different combos.
