Wanting To Dye My Hair Red

I'm wanting to dye my hair red. Any suggestions for which red to go for?

For the best red ever, you gotta bleach first....and then cover with like manic panic or funky colors or something.

Doing this it washes out and you can do other colors if you choose!

That is SO bad for the locks.

But looks so great when done.

I haven't done a permanent color in so long, I wouldn't know which direction to point you in!

Loreal Feria has some nice shades of red.

Just rember to put Vaseline or something similar on the skin around your hairline so that the dye doesn't stain your skin. I dyed my hair red a few days ago and forgot to do that. I looked like I had bruises on my neck and forehead for about 24 hours.

In Intense Red ... the picture really doesn't do it any justice ... mixed with #30 developer.

When I'm lazy and just touching up I use:

I chose this one and bought it last night. Its called Ruby Twilight(Intense dark red). I think that it will look great. I'll make sure to post before & after pics also.

It depends on if you want a light or dark shade. If you go auburn like I did for awhile...you wont need to bleach first if your already brown......and then use redken shades eq....no damage.

If you need someone to buy it for you let me know, I think you have to be lisenced.

I love shades! It feels like a conditioner.
