You'd think that a month away from 39 years old, I'd be over feeling sad at not seeing my name - even once - on popularity threads like these.

But gads, if the sound of crickets doesn't just get to me sometimes...

Really does get me thinking about what I'm doing wrong (I'm well-aware I've pissed off more than my share of members in the past - but DAMN), or what I'm doing right (falling somewhere in the middle ain't a bad thing 'tall), or if with the 3rd earliest join date and 6th highest number of posts, one can really be flying that much below the radar...

... and also makes me wonder what I can do to shed this loathesome paranoid/self-conscious part of my personality that has plagued me since middle school.

Believe me, Erin, I like myself - plenty. Matter of fact, everybody should put me as #1 on their list, cause goddamn it, I'm good enough, I'm smart enough, and people like me.

In all seriousness, you're on the wrong track here. My self-confidence and self-love aren't directly affected by my paranoia. They live in healthy disrespect of each other.

I have enjoyed chatting with everyone I have met here even tho some I have only chatted with for a moment. And Troy, you are on that list cuz you rock. You keep DGN hoppin with the DGN Radio and all the work you put into it. And so are all the Mods, without all of you, this place would be chaos. To those I haven't met yet, one day we shall meet and once I have met everyone, everyone will be on my favs list.
