I've met myself in male form as well, and umm.. you're right, I don't believe it would have been good for a LTR either. Maybe when we've got the wilds out of us... and I learn to love me more.. and I don't mean masturbation either..

Hehe.. trust me myself as a guy looks nothing like me.. just that we have the exact personality and stuff. He's actually really freaking HOT.. ;) (my counterpart/some would say what I claim as my 'ideal' physically)

Eh, the one's i've told laugh at me...thinking i'm a dumb kid or something...

The one's I haven't told either have ended up taken or i'm just too akward and stupid to find a way to tell them.

So yeah...have yet to have someone say they like me back...I mean to date lol And only one has said they like me physcially. XD so yeah the numbers are not curently in my favor. :(

Would it kill someone to hit on me once in a while in person or online? lol

I have my eye on one in particular, but I still do have a few crushes... and some are older than me... wait, all of them are older than me... lol... I don't discriminate in age, unless it will get me thrown in jail, or they are old enough to be my grandfather.... and right now, my crushes constist of the femail variety.... mmmmm yummy girl parts... i just want to... okay... nevermind... wrong thread... i already made a post about that... i need to stop now, before I get accused of being lose -again- :rofl:

Has anyone had a crush on someone's profile before actually meeting him/her? I did. Then we met and ended up dating for over 3 years.

But of course! It's only natural. But beware, sometimes it just nice from afar, then you get close and you wonder "WTF was I thinking". :yes

Apparently, all the single guys on this site want the women who aren't available to them, and vice versa. *straightface*

Or have you ever noticed that other peoples food taste better, even if it is the same thing? One of BF Jamie use to always steal food off of my plate, I would always yell at her she would say ' But yours taste better"! :biggrin:

I think everyone has done the whole I think I like this person or I find them interesting based on a picture, profile, or signnature. :p I personally see a photo, then read the sig, then end up checking out the profile and picking it apart for structure, spelling and overall personality type. :p Then I actually say hi to them lol.

I was wodering if anyone has any pointers for telling crushses...well flirting with them I guess is what I mean. XD This has always been my weakness and apparently I have always been doing it wrong. :( For instance guys or girls is there a certain thing someone could do to cue you in that they like you...and what is it?

I feel kinda lost when it comes to trying to get someone to see me as a romantic possibility.

Well a signature is a very personal thing. It shows all kinds of things about a person, its ideal to be attracted to someone who thinks along the same lines as you. :sorcerer:

Once, years ago, when I first joined the board. Then I met that person and, um, just no. Never happened since. I might think someone is interesting based on profile, but I have to meet someone in person before I can develop any sort of "crush".

As far as crushing on someone who's taken goes, I think it's fine as long as it stays just a fantasy. Especially if you're not looking to get involved with anyone. I've noticed I get crushes on guys who are either unavailable or totally wrong for me when I am single and don't feel ready to start anything.

As for me, no crushes for several months now. I'm happy with the bf.

I must say, I have a few "girl crushes".. :p I shall name no names, as I think the feelings are mutual. :)

Those would probably end up being more worthwhile than any boy crush. DGN ladies have their shit together, and KNOW what they like and want!
