City Club Friday Or Saturday

Further, please add your comment about whether you'd actually LIKE to switch DGN's official night to Friday. Not that I have any say in this matter, or plan to do anything about it, or even want to. I'm purely just curious.

Friday nights are dead there now. I prefer Saturday......and its the day I expect to see everyone, so....

Friday nights are better for me for a multitude of reasons:

A) Music that's more my style and enjoy dancing to.

2) Less people on the dance floor so more room for me to move.

Finally) I go to church every Sunday morning and that's never fun with a hangover.

Plus, Saturday night is <sarcasm>oh so important</sarcasm> at Walgreens so I'll almost never get that night off. I rarely get Fridays off either but it's far more likely than a Saturday.

I could make it Friday, but on Fridays I am way too tired from working all week to dance or feel like going out. It's as simple as that for me.

I can nap Saturday afternoon and hobble down to the club with my cane and actually have a bit of energy left to dance

For me, still Saturdays. I teach every Saturday morning, so NO GO on Friday nights. I've learned that from horrible experience.

I prefer Fridays for the music, but tend to go on Saturdays for whatever reason...easier to plan a club night on a Saturday, maybe? I don't know. And to be honest, I never think about Saturday being DGN Night.

I go whenever I feel like it. I can't do City Club every week, or usually even more than once a month. For social interaction I am more likely to go if a lot of people I know post that they're going, which is usually a Saturday night. If I just want to dance I prefer to go Friday because it's less crowded on the floor and they play better music.

Fridays however, are pretty dead.

Heck, I live ... like 10 minutes, if that, from Necto and I can't even tell you the last time I went there.

"dgn night" really isn't a factor in my decision. I also prefer the music on Fridays, but I'm usually more tired on friday due to having worked that day and want something more low-key to do. In general, I'll go if I know friends are going, or if I'm really in the mood to dance, or if I'm bored and feel like doing something and can't come up with anything else.

I almost never go on Fridays. I'm lucky if I can stay awake long enough to watch a movie or something. Work beats me up all week. The last thing I want to do is go to the club before getting some sleep recovery time. I'm old!

I'll be straight up and say that I prefer Saturdays over Fridays. I've been going to CC for almost 4 years now (yeah not that long). And since I have been with my girlfriend I lost interest in going every weekend. I'll name reasons why I don't go as much.

#1 The drama circulates wherever I go.

#2 The pitchers of beer taste like shit.

#3 The place stinks like rotten eggs.

#4 There is no soap in the mens bathroom! (Germs galore!)

#5 The music sucks 99% of the time, but on Fridays it seems to be better.

#5 Random idiots (Meaning the tourist or skirt chasers).

#6 The bondage couple never talks to me.

#7 I always feel sick the morning after going.

#8 They should enforce some kind of dress code. (No khaki, polo's, cashmere sweaters etc.)

To a much lesser extent, I want to address how much I think City Club sucks, which I feel is being even more undercut by the people, yet I still go.
